Off-center house on 9th street is one of my favorites

I like houses that aren't centered on the lot. Centered may be most in keeping with neighboring house but I think most architects, builders, and owners don't even try. This one faces an empty lot so it's doomed to be a tear down.

It has everything I like. Here is the approach from the west. The brick pillars and driveway belong to the house next door. It's a modest Georgian with it's gable end facing the street. The low key fence frames house and garden. The gravel driveway approaches the house so that there is no hill climb put your groceries away.
