Nemesis &Partners Srl in Rome, Proger SpA of Pescara and BMS Progetti Srl of Milan wanted the architecture design of the Italian Pavilion to be represented as a community gathered together around a square: the emptiness houses the symbolic centerpiece of the exhibition space and gives shape to the volumes of architecture.
